Ireland and Chicago share a deep cultural heritage. The ties between the Windy City and the Emerald Isle were strengthened last month, when Brian Dempsey, the Immediate Past President of Ireland’s Institute of Professional Auctioneers & Valuers (IPAV), visited the Chicago Association of REALTORS®. In a packed presentation at CAR, Dempsey discussed some of the similarities — and the many differences — between the two country’s real estate practices.
