The CAR Foundation Community Champion Award demonstrates the human spirit through its commitment to community outreach. If you know a local small business that is enhancing the vibrancy of our city through its charitable outreach, nominate them for our new Community Champion Award. The award recipient will receive $3,500 from the Foundation.
To be eligible a business must:
- Be a small business (a non-charitable organization) that goes above and beyond its normal scope of operations and has positively impacted Chicago’s 77 communities through active charitable outreach.
- Have outreach that aligns with the CAR Foundation’s core mission.
- Be in good financial standing.
- Use the funds towards the business’s charitable outreach efforts.
